About me

Hi, I'm lenka, 23 years old and from Chengdu, Sichuan.

I've been living and studying in Melbourne, Australia, since 2014, and I'm currently looking at RMIT University for my Master's degree in Animation, Game and Interactivity.

I have loved art since I was a child. I like to draw and sing. I have been teaching myself illustration since I was 12 years old. I love animation and games, so I learnt to draw by watching animation and playing games. Gradually I hope to integrate drawing into my future life so that it is not just a hobby but my future work. I wanted to try different things with my paintings, so I chose digital media as my major at university.

Animation and games got me interested in drawing and Japanese culture, so I started to learn Japanese on my own and took Japanese courses when I entered high school. In Year 10, I joined a school exchange programme where I went to Japan to interact with local students, live with their families and learn about their culture. I am now fluent in three languages and can communicate with others.

In the past few years, I have been able to use a variety of design software such as adobe illustrator for posters, icons and logos, procreate for illustration and Photoshop and Lightroom for photo editing and colour grading.

I love my life now and enjoy creating a variety of works, and I look forward to working with more people to create better works in the future.
